Many of us who follow politics closely - and who rely on non-mainstream media to present the whole picture - have been saying for a long tome that the tool that allows control of government by criminals is the "divide and conquer" technique. What better way to conquer than to split us up via actual borders and separate governments? And what better way to convince people that they need to belong to a single regional economy rather than individual economies?

I suspect that this effort may be part of a Balkanization process. I haven't listed all of my reasons for concern, but when you start digging into details, certain influential individuals seem to be prepared for this type of scenario. It won't come as a surprise.

To me, an expected response by the States towards real Constitutional leadership from Washington would be an organization of State citizens to petition the federal government for redress of issues, and a unification among like-minded states to petition jointly for the same. That process hasn't happened. Instead we're seeing blanket statements of secession if likely events take place.

It doesn't have the fit or feel of a legitimate effort that protects the interests of the people. My advice is to be careful before getting behind something like this. Especially if you're a member of any state legislature and private or influential individuals are pressuring you to introduce something similar.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4679367111526265280.post-78202437842129509072009-02-07T07:27:00.000-08:002009-02-07T07:27:00.000-08:00I think it’s great, but in the day in age where th...I think it’s great, but in the day in age where the constitution doesn’t matter and where judges don’t look towards the constitution but to international law… What does this mean by these states passing these declarations? The states still have to be vanilla to receive funding from the Fed for highways, ect…

Perhaps we need a different declaration. Perhaps the citizens of this great country should declare that we as individuals will no longer go along with increase tyranny and into involuntary national debt. This is what Hamilton wanted; we are all in bondage with debt. I for one only exist in this time, and I do not want my life to be consumed being a producer for the political classes in Washington. This Government was created to protect the rights of sovereign individuals; any more it is an un-constitution nanny-state…that has a long history of failure.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4679367111526265280.post-69143016251488829652009-02-06T15:21:00.000-08:002009-02-06T15:21:00.000-08:00Melyssa, I can assure you this fall at the State F...Melyssa, I can assure you this fall at the State Fair it will be deep-fried sugar creme pie, sprinkled with confectioner's sugar (on a stick, of course).Downtown Indyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06239811599722585898noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4679367111526265280.post-43655614900874294342009-02-06T14:02:00.000-08:002009-02-06T14:02:00.000-08:00I'm going to call my state rep about naming the st...I'm going to call my state rep about naming the state's #1 Carnival food too.
