Advance Indiana & the Digital Farmers blog are raising legitimate concerns that Bart Peterson is using highly paid city workers such as deputy mayor Steve Campbell to field questions that should be handled by his campaign staff who are persons not on the city payroll.
Abdul Hakim Shabazz reported that Steve Campbell wrote an email response regarding Peterson's latest campaign commercial that gives credit for the Governor's reassessment order to Peterson.
Digital Farmers asks if any of Peterson's campaign staffers are persons other than city employees. As a taxpayers, we are not willing to pay for city employees' time to handle Peterson's campaign issues.
To make an inquiry as to why a highly paid city employee is fielding Peterson's campaign questions, please call (317) 637-3366 and demand to know why.

Is Peterson breaking campaign laws? Is he accountable to the rule of law?

I'm sure Mayor Brat has some campaign staffers, but they are busy stuffing envelopes, making phone calls, etc.
Those commercials are clearly marked campaign commercials ["Paid for by Bart Peterson For Mayor Committee"] so for the Deputy Mayor to comment to Abdul Hakeem-Shabazz about the content of the commercials is very improper.
I have government related business with Steve Campbell (he promised me an appointment) and he has not returned my phone calls. It has been more than one month now.
No wonder he doesn't have time for the citizens (who are paying his salary), he is too busy handling the mayor's campaign problems.
Hmmm perhaps you could check into whether one of your competitors received the business? And then find out if said competitor made a contribution to Mayor Brat's campaign.
I've always considered Steve Campbell as nothing more than a mouthpiece for the Mayor. This type of activity proves it.
Bart?? Break th law???? I don't believe it!!!!
