City Employees Doing Mayor's Campaign Work on the Taxpayer's Dime

We are pretty sure it is illegal for Mayor Peterson to use city employees to do research work for his campaign. The image captured above is part of a statistics report from tax activist Melyssa Donaghy's personal website. The City of Indianapolis hit her site when they googled the words "bart peterson for mayor of indianapolis" and landed on this page of her site. We can email you a larger version of the screen if you ask us.

Information Services Agency the city's IT Department. Why isn't the mayor's campaign research being done by his campaign staff instead of the employees of the taxpayer?

I overheard a City staffer talking about "having to attend a fund raiser for the Mayor" on Tuesday night.

Who needs campaign staff when you have city employees?

All city PC's probably show "IT" as the originator due to the system setup.

You could probably track it down further, at a much higher expense.

Maybe you should take it as a back-handed compliment. Where "somebody" seems very interested in what goes on around here. Even though publicly they call you names in an attempt to discredit you.

Maybe..., they are interested in becoming one of your "boys"? Now there is a delicious fantasy. LOL
