The man behind "BartLies.com" is a true patriot

He always showed up. He had computers, cameras, and a lot of technical know-how and he used it to help the People. Our city is much better off because of his activism. Here is what he says today on the BartLies.com website:

They said it couldn't be done

For months, the debate raged on. The bloggers were wingnuts, whackos, fringies, and worse things than that. We suffered non-stop insults from 'experts' and shills of the Democrat party. No one took The Movement seriously. Now the naysayers have a large serving of crow to eat.
So many people were so positive that a multi-million-dollar campaign warchest assures victory. They believed that they were invincible. They believed they could do no wrong.
Boy were they wrong.

Never count out a small band of dedicated people with the courage of their convictions. Never count out an honest man with the courage to fight an uphill fight without scarcely any support from his own party. Never assume that a corrupt and self-serving political machine is invincible.
Congratulations to the voters of Marion County who used their brains. Fool us once, shame on you. Fool us twice, shame on us. Fool us 3 times? Ain't gonna happen.

Now the task at hand is Property Tax repeal. As we have seen, voters CAN make amazing things happen. It ain't over yet.

Without the Bolgs, Ballard and the City Council Republicans would not have won. They offset the Star's political bias. We are at the dawn of a new era of journalism and politics. Jim Shella and Mike O’Connor might want to reexamine their future plans.

Ah, shucks. T'weren't nothin'.

We all made it happen. Together.

Indy Chicken, Paul (the man of a 1000 faces), Abu, Piper, Laura, Melyssa, Darla, GaryJ, Ernie, RinkyDink and many more; the tipsters who fed intel to all of us; the bloggers, and especially the voters who are a lot smarter than some campaign managers and newspaper editors give 'em credit for being.

To paraphrase Sean Connery in the movie "Hunt for Red October"

"A little revolution now and again is good thing"

Everybody involved....Wasn't the sky a little bluer, the sun a little more brilliant, the air taste a little sweeter today???

Take a bow, you all deserve it!

We all worked together brilliantly. Libertarians, republicans, and democrats hand in hand to get the filth out of our city!

I'm so happy today! And yes, the air did smell better and everything feels lighter.

The blogs were a life-line for many of us these past few months and will be an integral part of the next chapter in the revolution...the abolition of property taxes!

HUGE thanks to BartLies, IndyU, Advance Indiana, Hoosiers for Fair Tax and the others for providing fertile ground from which a revolution has sprung!

I think we've made our limit on the number of moonbats we bagged this season!!

Badges? We don't need no stinking badges!

Hailstone,

We got the Moonbats out of the CCC belfry but, there is still a load of ‘em under the big dome on the other end of Market Street. They may be a little harder to clean but, they’ll be just as tasty!

Lock and load - Happy hunting
