Open letter to Jon Elrod and Indiana GOP

Greetings Rep. Elrod and GOP,

We received your press release stating why Carson is not qualified for Congress. Thank you. The press release, however, did not mention any facts that relate to voters why Jon Elrod is qualified for Congress.

We are now looking high and low to find specific accomplishments that Elrod has done on behalf of the taxpayer. We thought you would be the best source.

We poised the question on the HOOSIERS FOR FAIR TAXATION blog and hope that you will respond to our readers, many of whom are 7th district Meridian Kessler and Butler Tarkington residents who are directly involved in the property tax repeal rallies and legislation. Many of our readers are the same people that helped Ballard win. We are non-partisan and even have a few democrats in our ranks.

We are trying to provide our readers with as much information as possible to make an informed decision regarding the upcoming election for 7th district and are counting on you to help.

Here's a link to the post that asks about Elrod's accomplishments on behalf of the taxpayer.

We eagerly await your response.

Best Regards,
Melyssa Donaghy, volunteer

I'm thinking you have a lot of democrats who are willing and able to help you. Property theft is not a partisan matter. It is owners against legislators. Owners vs thieves.

So far, our letter to the GOP has been ignored.

Nice, huh? Considering how much help we gave to their candidate Greg Ballard...a candidate the GOP gave so little to help themselves.

We don't need more of the same.

If we are going to break this awful cycle of getting what we've got from our politicians, we are going to have to stop doing what we've always done.
