INDIANAPOLIS, IN - Taxpayer citizens of the 7th district rallied on Friday declaring their disapproval of Barack Obama's endorsement of Andre Carson.

.

Taxpayers of the 7th district deserve to judge their congressional candidates on an even playing field without interference. Presidential candidate Barack Obama endorsed Andre Carson, the least experienced candidate on the democratic slate.

.

Not only is Carson the least experienced candidate, but he accepted two-thirds of his campaign chest from big lobbyist PACs. Obama claims to not accept big special interest money himself, but has no problem butting into our district and endorsing an inexperienced, greedy congressman who does.

.

Speculation persists that Obama bought Andre Carson's "Machine" in exchange for Carson's super delegate vote. Obama did not give a second thought to the experience and qualifications of the other two African American candidates with longer standing records of public service. You see the other two African American congressional candidates do not have a super delegate vote to sell.

Carolene Mays, long-serving state representative, is also the publisher of "The Indianapolis Recorder", our local African American issues newspaper.

And Dr. Woody Meyers is Indiana's former state health commissioner. Dr. Meyers is endorsed by Jeanne White, mother of Ryan White. Ryan's mom says that Dr. Meyers was the only state official who helped her son during his persecution over his right to go to school with AIDS.
