Sheila Jenkins from the non-profit Community Development Law Center is exploring ways to challenge these latest property taxes. But she must demonstrate the need that people are in danger of losing their properties, or that their lives will otherwise be severely impacted.
She has to show powers that be that there are real life consequences in the making.
Sheila, under the aegis of NESCO (Near Eastside Community Organization) is spearheading a forum for this Saturday.
