Kudos to Governor Mitch Daniels: Selected as one of eight 2008 Public Officials of The Year

While the HFFT crowd is definitely behind Andy Horning for Governor and his constitutional platform, we gotta give kudos to Governor Mitch Daniels for the recent honor he received by being named one of just a short list of public officials of the year by Governing Magazine.

Governor Daniels was selected for putting our state on a solid financial footing in an era when most states are in fiscal trouble and for the health care reforms he implemented. Governing Magazine did not mention how well he straightened out the license branches, but we like that reform too.

Congrats to our Governor. You make Hoosiers proud!

And if Andy Horning is elected, we're pretty sure he'll make that short list too! Because there is no way that government will grow larger under Horning's watch!
