There are times when all I can do is sit here and shake my head.

This is one of those times.

The old saying about not wanting to see how sausage is made? Well this sausage factory is just unbelievable.

Downtown Indy -

Plese don't insult the sausage makers that way!

Jimmy Dean has served me a cease and desist, and some very tasty sausages, today.

Isn't it interesting that here we have an enormous pile of legislation, signed and delivered without any (or most) of it being read?

It's eerily like the folks it's intended to bail out - who never read the terms of their mortgages before it was signed and delivered.

And no doubt doomed to a similar, disastrous result.

I'll do more than shake my head. The fact that our Congress allows us to be run roughshod like this by the Executive Branch is a 100% violation of our rights as citizens with representation in Congress. A failure to lead is more than a failure to follow procedure - it's a failure to faithfully execute the duties of elected office. Every single representative who voted in favor of this bill needs to be held accountable for his/her refusal to grant the people a lawful and legally mandated legislative process.

This isn't unbelievable. It's criminal. The Congress and the Executive Branch must be held accountable.

"For we are opposed around the world by a monolithic and ruthless conspiracy that relies primarily on covert means for expanding its sphere of influence--on infiltration instead of invasion, on subversion instead of elections, on intimidation instead of free choice, on guerrillas by night instead of armies by day.

It is a system which has conscripted vast human and material resources into the building of a tightly knit, highly efficient machine that combines military, diplomatic, intelligence, economic, scientific and political operations.

Its preparations are concealed, not published.

Its mistakes are buried, not headlined.

Its dissenters are silenced, not praised.

No expenditure is questioned, no rumor is printed, no secret is revealed."

-John F. Kennedy

The answer is in the last line:
"NO EXPENDITURE IS QUESTIONED"

Ever wonder why JFK was unpopular among the folks within the shadows of power?

My greatest fear is coming true. I believe we are on the verge of an armed rebellion--a civil war.

I will continue to work within the political arena as I know there is always hope to get through to these politicians and wake them up to the reality that they are destroying our nation and committing high crimes.

If a lawyer fails to read but approves the terms of a contract for a client; the client has grounds for a malpractice suit. How is this any different? Constitutionally (how much more legal can you get?), this is malpractice.
