Remember, it was a war that got America out of the Depression and not spending. The People have learned from the past and are fighting to not repeat it. Our politicians are not listening. They must WANT the past repeated.

I do not want to contradict you, but it was not war that got us out of the depression, War is just more governemnt spending and buying the products for government use. They repealed the smoot-Hawley act which had taxed exports as much as 60% and which had been the catalyst that started the depression in the first place, since Europe no longer wanted what we were selling. Repealing Smoot Hawley reopened trade with Europe. The then New ford factories and ancillary industries, also gave the economy an additional boost, especially when Fords were starting to be exported.
In the present economy, would you want to start a factory where you are going to have 20 to 30 % skimmed off your profit. If Cap and trade passes it will be even more off the top. Every thing is moving over seas. Do you read the labels of the items you buy? See where they are made! Fight Cap and trade and promote Fairtax.
