CAN YOU TRUST THIS MAN?Word is from our activists who attended the first 2008 meeting of the Indianapolis City Council that the recent juiceless former city councilor president Monroe Gray was not in attendance. Did he miss the swearing in? We're sure these next two years are going to be not-so-fun for old Monroe Gray since he now sits in the minority, is subject to an ethics investigation (finally), and no longer has "the juice" to use against the city's taxpayers, but that's no reason not to show up for a meeting.

WISH-TV has video coverage of last night's council meeting. Good for Ballard to make immediate moves to keep his campaign promise and move IMPD control back to the mayor's office.

why just two years? aren't council terms 4?
glad that HFFT is keeping the heat on gray. his behavior is despicable and cannot go unnoticed even though he is no longer in charge.
That is now two missed opportunites for Councillor Gray to be sworn in.
Maybe, he knows something the rest of us don't?
