Arts Council funds $159,400 for "miscellaneous"

We're just curious, in addition to giving more than $700k to Gregory & Appel's clients in 2006, we would like Dan Appel or Gregory Charleston to tell the taxpayers where that miscellaneous $159,400 was spent. It also can be found on their 2006 IRS Statement.

We won't be holding our breath that they'll come clean to the people that fund them. Something tells us they think they are above the people that write the checks.

And if you're so irritated by it, why were there NO representatives present at the city council hearing from your organization?

Believe it or not anonymous, we have bigger fish to fry than you. And I didn't really feel like going. I wanted to go to the movies tonight. I saw I.O.U.S.A...and the live town hall meeting simulcast in theaters across the country.

I.O.U.S.A. is an urgent wake up call from the former comptroller of the united states...that we're in SERIOUS financial trouble.

And besides, I didn't have to go. I called the press myself today with the info, made sure it got to representatives with the city, and am that it will be on the Mayor's radar.

I'll be at the full meeting of the CCC with handouts connecting the dots in such a way, that a baby could understand it was being robbed.

"Miscellaneous" means "none of your damn business!"

It's just tax dollars. It's not like it's REAL money.

Notice that Lisa Sirkin, the woman that led the save indy arts charge, has nothing to say since she was exposed as earning her living from Marion county tax dollars? Notice how she shut up after this blog pointed out she does not live in Marion county?
