It was the Journal Gazette who put the truth about property tax in print last year. They told Hoosiers that our property tax is intimately tied to the Indiana bond debt and that our homes are essentially nothing more to the state than collateral to cover their out-of-control spending habits. That article was an eye-opener for us.
The Gazette has also compiled a blog format full of information to help you keep Indiana tax matters straight. We found it useful. INDIANA TAX FACTS should be bookmarked in your favorites.
The Journal Gazette has done an admirable job of keeping Hoosiers informed and up-to-date regarding the property tax issue. In our opinion the paper from our little sister, Ft. Wayne, did a much better job than the Indianapolis Star. There were some property tax rallies that the Star didn't even send a reporter to cover, yet the Journal Gazette was there.

This (HFFT) is the most informative and best blog-like the real investigative reporters from the good ol days before news became bias mainstream manipulating and brainwashing of the public.
