Bob Barr is a great guy AND his name will be printed on the Indiana ballot which makes him a great 3rd party choice.
However, since Ron Paul is the inspiration behind the rEVOLolution, a write in vote for Ron Paul shows intent and thought It also shows a little extra work on the part of the voter at the poll.
And regardless, given the choice between Bob Barr and Ron Paul and a level playing field for all candidates...you'd go with Ron Paul too.
I support Ron Paul 100%, wish he was on the ballot and now we all have proof that he was exactly right in the economic matters he was running on; however, since most ballots are computer scanned now it does almost no good to write in his name on the ballot. I doubt any humans will see it unless a hand count is required.
I don't believe Chuck will be on the ballot in Indiana. Bob Barr is probably the best bet.
Sean, HFFT supports your decision to vote for Bob Barr as well!
It is because of your hard work and countless others in our ranks that the Libertarians in Indiana successfully gained ballot access, get to participate in the debates, and enjoy media coverage today.
We were in a pickle over who to endorse, as you know.
Our endorsement of Ron Paul is the best philosophically grounded position that would alienate no one, but also make a statement of respect to Dr. Paul and all he has courageously faced to promote freedom within the most free country in history.

Ron Paul is not registered in Indiana for a write in vote. If you do this, you would despoil your ballot. Ron Paul has endorsed Chuck Baldwin.
So what's wrong with Bob Barr?

Anonymous, Melyssa is right, there is nothing to prevent any of us from writing in who we all feel is best for America.
Sore loser law doesn't apply here.

And certainly he is worthy of this honor. Thank you HFFT for all you continue to do to help taxpayers and increase transparency in government.
