Lies Hurt! Somebody please tell CCP that Ford is NOT asking for a bailiout!

Jacob Perry's blog (Circle City Pundit) incorrectly blames Ford for asking for government bailout. Today they posted this parody showing a Ford automobile pictured with a not so flattering caption.

Nothing could be further from the truth. Ford wants no taxpayer money and is retooling as a lean, mean, green machine car manufacturer according to many mainstream news sources we easily found by a google search of the words "Ford bailout". I've been so impressed with some of the commercials I have seen for Ford that I will definitely test drive one when I car shop again. That's huge because I always buy imports and appreciate good performance. Right now I drive an Audi Quattro A-6. My next car just might be a Ford.

You should not be surprised by the sloppy mean-spirited reporting. This is the blog that recently suggested that I am an adulteress engaged in an affair with a fellow activist who is married. The day before the blog maliciously and falsely reported that I threatened physical violence against a fellow activist.

It is hard to know what to believe over there anymore. One thing is for sure the blog that once had a long impressive list of contributors, today enjoys no better stature than that of a super market tabloid.

Relax my friend for Jacob Perry does not live here in Indianapolis and does not really contribute to our community. Focus focus focus on the issue which is that Ford has not taken a dime in bailouts as of yet and I believe the Circle City Pundit should retract their statement as I know Ford has sued for similar statements made by other bloggers.

Ford SHOULD sue bloggers who libel their brand. In these difficult times, Ford does everything they can to make it without taxpayer's bailout while everyone else lines up for a payout!

Ford richly deserves our admiration, not condemnation!
