Connecting Dots: CSO Architects, Cid McNeilly & Washington Township School System Spending

,

This is the back page of Washington Township School Board Superintendent James Mervilde's contract. We noticed a curious signature on it today and did some digging.

That signature belongs to a Mrs. Cid McNeilly. Isn't she part of the team that came up with the spending plan to present to the State Tax Board? Isn’t she the wife of a CSO Architects executive? Does this have anything to do with Washington Township continuing to use CSO even though their reports may be conflicting and perhaps “flawed”? Did Cid McNeilly negotiate Superintendent James Mervilde's bloated contract too?
.
Since declaring his candidacy for governor, Jim Schellinger, the "S" in CSO Architects has taken a back seat in Washington Township's school business. But boy oh boy, it sure does appear that he's got hired gun James Mervilde, bribed with big salary and private office bathroom on the taxpayers' dime, to do his dirty work.
x
We We also noticed that a whole lot of hits are coming to our blog from the Avon (Hendricks county) school system. Could Mervilde be looking for a new employer in Avon or are their administrators starting to become gravely worried about public exposure too? We just find it odd how many Avon school district people keep googling Mervilde and landing on our blog.

Are we connecting the dots wrong?

We warned everyone after we cleaned house at city hall, that we are going after the school board's bloated spending habits. We are just getting started. Tax advocates from any school system are welcome to complain to us by email or by by posting comments. It is time to make education about reading, writing, and arithmetic, not fattening the pockets of educrats and construction interests. -- HFFT editor

If we had a real newspaper in this town they would have been all over that connection a long time ago.

I would add "fiscal RESTRAINT" to the 3R's.

From the blogs on this site, let me get this straight.
1) no plans what to do with building after they disrupt children's lives into other schools, despite the blight it would create in neighborhoods and lowering property values.

2) Borrow from the Bond bank hundreds of thousands of dollars taxpayers have to pay back to replace or build schools throughout Washington township despite the recent Commissions report to tighten our belt and downsize for the 21st century.

3) Potential conflict of interest looms with architect firm "CSO" of which Jim Schellinger will benefit 183 million dollars during the next 10 years for this project, money that His GOP candidacy could find a financial boom by the millions derived from these contracts?

If these are true, do they not understand this will be exposed. Harcourts downfall is Schellinger's windfall?
