Democrat Sen. Diane Wilkerson caught on video stuffing cash bribes into her bra
Massachusetts State Senator Diane Wilkerson was arrested for having succumbed to a virulent case of Politician’s Disease, commonly known as corruption.
Wilkerson was caught on camera stuffing ten Franklins (also known as hundred dollar bills for over-taxed Americans who have never seen one) into her bra during a “money-for-legislative influence” sting operation run by undercover FBI agents.
In all, she’s charged with taking $23,500 in bribes, a major haul that must have required at least a pair of size 46 double-D cups.
The libertarian solution to official corruption is different than most:
1. Do away with government and you do away with corrupt government officials.
2. Barring that unlikely scenario, forbid governments at all levels from doing anything that isn’t expressly permitted by their constitutions. That will eliminate about 90% or so of virtually every government in America. When there’s little “legislative influence” to sell to eager lobbyist buyers it gets rid of 90% or so of the corruption.
But, since the people who make the laws are the people who benefit most from the “money-for-legislative influence” scam, that suggestion won’t be turned into policy any time soon either.
So, guys, next time you’re down at the local Bump & Grind stuffing your federal reserve notes into a stripper’s g-string remember that it’s after-tax money you’re giving the girlies. The taxbucks skimmed from your paycheck before you ever saw them will end up padding some politico’s brassiere.
At least at the Bounce & Flounce you may actually be getting something worthwhile in return for your bribe money.

Was John F. Kennedy part of the tin foil hat wearing crowd?
In this video JFK clearly speaks of the threat to free and independent people by secret societies. Listen to a national broadcast Kennedy made. What do you make of it?

Norman Cox calls Washington Township Board Meeting: UGLIEST SCENE HE'S WITNESSED COVERING GOVERNMENT MEETINGS
In this video, which is in current rotation on Channel 6 news, Norman Cox informs the public that Joe Simpson shouted the N-Word at his news crew. He also goes on to state how Ray Baker, board president, refused to take calls at his other government paid job in the assessor's office.
Big thanks and thumbs up to Norman Cox for having the kahunas to tell this story. Our readers are encouraged to write to the board members who voted themselves a raise and demand a public apology and explanation as to why they deserve a 60% pay raise when their job responsibilities are reduced.

Apology demanded for racist remarks hurled by Joe Siimpson, Washington Township Board Member
We received an open letter from Patriot Paul demanding an apology to the taxpayers from Washington Township Board who was a personal witness to the racist tirade of Joe Simpson:
We demand an apologyThursday night's Washington Township Board's self indulgent behavior of voting a 60% salary increase for themselves in front of standing room only disgusted taxpayers is one thing. But loudly using the 'N' word from one of the Board members toward a media photographer is inexcusable. The board owes the taxpayers in that room, and in Washington Twp.,and by extension all citizens, a deep apology for a needless and racially charged confrontation. The Star recently promised an investigative team for issues of concern to its readers, so let's see what your made of!

OMG! Washington Township Board Member, Joe Simpson, screams N-word at Channel 6 News Photographer
"Some Two-Bit Township Board Member "
Hurls N-WORD at Channel 6 Cameraman at Thursday's Board Meeting
While I was waiting to get all the facts together, political reporter Norman Cox, published Joe Simpson's very unprofessional racial tirade on Capitol Watch Blog, which you absolutely have to read to believe!
"Simpson then started yelling at him, saying, among other
things, “You can’t talk to me that way!” It finally escalated to the point where
Simpson screamed, “You might as well just called me a n*****!” At that point,
Simpson started moving forward threateningly."
What is really sad to me is that, while America has now proven we are well beyond racism by our election of Barack Obama for the highest office in the world, a two-bit black elected official who votes himself a 60% taxpayer funded raise, still feels the need to play the race card.
It's quite obvious to everyone who watched the outburst that Joe Simpson is the racist.

Greed is alive and well in Washington Township
PATRIOT PAUL WRITES:
If there is a Poster-Child for self indulgent Township boards, it was last night's Washington Township Board, who voted themselves a 60% salary raise, despite a packed room who was shocked. 4 Democrats voted yes for the raise against 3 Republicans who were against it. Channel 6 has the report. (yes, the sign in the video is mine).
ABDUL HAKIM-SHABAZZ WRITES:
Township Board Tells Voters Where To Go and What to Do With Themselves When They Get There!!!
The Washington Township Board tonight told its citizens to go have sex with themselves and by a 4-3 vote gave itself a near 60 percent raise. The board took no public input and raised its pay from $2200 a year to more than $3600. Who still wants township government?
I am now more than ever convinced that the only difference between a township board member and a Somali pirate are jet skis and a rocket launcher.
UPDATE:
I spoke to Washington Township Board President Ray Baker this morning. He told me the raises were necessary because the township has a lot of work to do, even though it doesn’t have a fire department anymore. He says says the township has to sell land, cell phone towers and consolidate office space. He also says the public doesn’t understand township government and it would take too long to educate them.
Really? Here’s your opportunity to get educated from the people who voted “yes”.
Ray Baker, 327-481 or 257-5677, rbclimited@att.net

If you call be respectful, polite and don’t get personal and I’m sure the Board members won’t mind spending time with you explaining why they voted themselves a 60 percent raise.

City of Hammond flat broke, spends nearly $9,000 on aquarium fish
This was forwarded to us from our friends from the TEAM HAMMOND TAXPAYERS GROUP.
The city can't afford bus service or health care but can afford fish for a salt-water aquarium.
You've got to be kidding, right?
On October 24, 2008, a claim was submitted to the city council in the amount of $423.00 for purchases made at Pet Playground, 6944 Kennedy Avenue.
A variety of tropical fish (Black Bar Soldier, Yellow Angel, 2 Bluefin Damsels, Pajama Cardinals) were purchased for a salt-water aquarium.
Further investigation revealed claims in 2006 for $2,239.35, in 2007 for $3,693.95 and in 2008 (up until October) for $2,766.50 for fish, salt and other aquarium-related items. This comes to a grand total of $8,699.80!
Where did the money come from to pay for the $8,699.80 in fish and aquarium supplies? The mayor's discretionary gaming fund. Contrary to what the mayor believes; gaming revenue is still taxpayers' money!
Hammond citizens will lose their ability to get to work, the doctor or grocery shop when bus service is cut as of June 30, 2009 but hey! the mayor has a beautiful salt-water aquarium with tropical fish for him to enjoy.
Well you know what they say, it's all about the RIGHT PRIORITIES!

2nd Amendment Defenders: Buy 100 rounds of ammo on Wednesday November 19th
It is a nationwide BUYcott of ammunition. You buy ammunition. 100 Rounds a person.
The goals of Ammo Day:
The goal of National Ammo Day is to empty the ammunition from the shelves of your local gun store, sporting goods, or hardware store and put that ammunition in the hands of law-abiding citizens. Make your support of the Second Amendment known--by voting with your dollars!
There are an estimated 75 MILLION gun owners in the United States of America. If each gun owner or Second Amendment supporter buys 100 rounds of ammunition, that’s 7.5 BILLION rounds in the hands of law-abiding citizens!
The gun/ammunition manufacturers have been taking the brunt of all the frivolous lawsuits, trying to put these folks out of business. Well, not if we can help it! And we CAN help it by buying ammunition on November 19!

ROAD TRIP SATURDAY: Louisville "End The Fed" rally
HFFT activists are organizing a carpool caravan for next Saturday's national END THE FED rally at Louisville's Federal Reserve Bank. We will join simultaneous rallies at every Federal Reserve across America.
The rally is planned to bring more public awareness of an Act authored by Congressman Ron Paul (TX) , House Resolution 2755, a proposal to abolish The Federal Reserve Board.
Barack Obama's win as our nation's first black president, shows a great social achievement for America. He unites our humanity across racial divides toward a common dream of hope for a better tomorrow. And where there is hope, there lies possibility for faith. And faith always carries a duty for action. Hopefully some of you have not yet lost your faith in America. We have not. That's why we continue work together to right her wrongs.
Now we must make equally great strides on the fiscal front. It is critical that we confront the handling of our money by the group of bankers, known as The Federal Reserve Bank or The Fed. The Fed is not federal and there are no reserves. The bankers controlling The Fed are the most powerful individuals in the world. However, there are more of us, we have free speech, we have the internet, and we have ability to shine light on our problems in order that they may be fixed.
Had there never been the Civil Rights Movement within the last 50 years, there would not be an African American preparing to take oath to serve the highest office.
As Abdul aptly put last week:
"U.S. Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson says because the banks aren’t lending he want to take your $700 billion bailout money and give it to credit card and other loan companies. Regardless of the fact that this is totally messed up on so many levels, think about this. The government is taking your money to loan to the banks so the banks can loan you money. Wouldn’t it make more sense for the government to just not take your money in the first place?"
Lately Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson , former chief of Goldman Sachs, was given sole discretion (without oversight) of $850 billion of our future labor with a flakey hasty promise to bailout troubled mortgage assets. Instead he decided to give it, carte blanche, to the banks. Many of the banks are hoarding it, rather than keeping commercial lending oiled. Meanwhile, Iran converts $750 billion of its national treasury into gold.
The American automobile industry, led by GM, is getting in line for their bailout check next. They, along with the UAW, have lobbyists working non-stop to push their bailout through as quickly as possible. Fortunately it is meeting with resistance from President Bush.
Indiana Senator Richard Lugar states that he currently does not support the auto manufacturer's bailout and was incredulous that they asked for the money without a plan. It seems our esteemed Senator learned quickly from his hasty support of the first bailout and is wisely hesitant to jump into more deals. Maybe he feels double-crossed by Secretary Paulson & Pals too.
Saturday's rally is to bring awareness to America that The Fed must End and that there is a resolution waiting for congressional co-sponsors to abolish the Federal Reserve.
CAR POOL MEET UP: Saturday 11/22/2008
WHERE: Broad Ripple @ 9:30 am
RSVP: For meet up details & location, email hoosiers.for.fair.taxation@gmail.com
RETURN TO INDY: 6pm
WHAT TO BRING: Signs, flags, banners, lunch and gas money
WHAT TO WEAR: Comfortable warm layers and good walking shoes

Indianapolis Mayor Ballard plans to cut city taxes! Let's give back to Indy & keep our food pantries stocked!
Local political reporter, Abdul broke the good news today that Mayor Greg Ballard is planning to cut the COIT increase forced upon us last year by $18 million! That means our paychecks will be a little bit bigger each week!
After all the work we did last year to help Mayor Ballard get elected, every one of us was happy to see a balanced the budget this year which previously operated in the red and constantly borrowed from the bond bank.
Can you imagine where we would be today if our former mayor was allowed to run another term with that sham of a city budget (complete with missing pages) in today's troubled economic climate? I don't know about you, but I am glad I live in Indianapolis, Indiana right now.
I think it would be fitting if once the decrease is in effect, if we all give back to our city by honoring the Mayor's recent request to keep our cities food pantries stocked.
Now more than ever we need to show the liberals that Americans are generous and we don't need to be forced through taxation to take care of the social needs within our communities. America is the most charitable nation on earth.
Is there another Mayor in the country that is cutting milions in taxes in the middle of these economic times? Let's hope the national media will report this.

Local activist attorney Paul Ogden's message to Republicans
Taxpayer Money is Not a Slush Fund for Big Corporations
Clearly the philosophy of the Republican Party has gotten off track. As I have mentioned in these pages before, it would be unwise if the blame lands on the backs of social conservatives. Indeed it has been the support of social conservatives who kept the GOP and Bush alive, well after the party's pulse was barely beating.
I chuckle at those Republicans who idiolize Barry Goldwater's economic conservatism and social liberalism as the model for the party. In 1964, Goldwater demonstrated that such a coalition is a definite minority when he lost in one of the worst landslides in presidential history. Let's not also forget that Goldwater, one of the few Republicans who voted against the Civil Rights of 1964, helped drive away African-American voters from the GOP. Goldwater is not this Republican's hero.
As I've pointed out here, the problem is not that Republicans lost majority support because it embraced social conservatism, but rather because the party lost the fiscal conservative voters who are the essential part of the Reagan coalition. Voters no longer see the GOP as the party of limited government and lower taxes. Republicans became the party of big government and lost fiscal conservatives in the process.
Once in power courtesy of the Reagan Revolution, Republicans set about using the tools of government to assist their supporters, big business. While in days of past, Republicans decried the Democrats for handing out government largess to the poor and working class, not coincidentally voters likely to vote for the Democrats, Republicans took taxpayer money and gave it to corporations. While the Democrats often are guilty of demagoguery, the charge that Republicans were for corporate welfare stuck, and rightfully so because it was true.
In days of past, Republicans fought for their business patron by standing for a competitive marketplace and lower taxes. Today, the headlines are that the Republican Treasury Secretary is reconsidering which corporations are going to receive taxpayer bailout money. On its deathbed, the Reagan Revolution spends its remaining days picking which corporations will be awarded for their failures with taxpayer money. Fortunately, Reagan, a true hero to Republicans, is not alive to see how far his heirs strayed from the principles for which he stood.
Today, corporate welfare takes many forms and exists as much on the local and state stage, as the national. As you drive around the city of Indianapolis, you see monuments of taxpayer money spent to help corporate interests. Two of the most prominent on the city's skyline are the Lucas Oil Stadium and Conseco Fieldhouse. Those buildings built by so-called public-private partnerships are simply ways of channeling taxpayer money to big corporate interests.
The cousin of public-private partnerships is privatization. Republicans in the 1980s and 1990s rightfully touted privatization on the very Republican principle of bringing market competition into the provision of public services. Then Republicans proceeded to forget those principles, privatizing services for which there only one or two vendors able to provide the service and then handing out long-term contract to those privatization vendors so they are shielded from competition. Worse yet, office-holders, undoubtedly blinded by the campaign contributions they received from these companies, fail to monitor the private company's compliance with the privatization contract. For example, we are having a crisis with privatized medical services in jails and prisons and nobody in government lifts a finger to make those vendors comply with their contracts or the law.
As the Republicans look to the future, they need to revisit the philosophical roots of the Reagan Revolution. Those roots were not about handing over taxpayer money to corporate patrons in a public-private partnership or a privatization deal. The philosophy was about keeping taxes low and fighting for a competitive marketplace for business. If Republicans continue to treat taxpayer money as a slush fund for corporate interests, they will continue to pay at the polls.
Note: See related post on privatization, including my rules for doing it correctly.

The Constitution and our founders' intent vs. intent of this nation's enemies
A look at several of today's issues clearly reveals most of our government programs today are far from the Founders' original intent and as Justice Thomas says, have about as much basis in the Constitution as the latest football scores--the authority is purely made-up.
For example:
U. S. foreign policy:
Founders' intent : Expressed in the Monroe Doctrine wherein the U. S. promised to stay out of the affairs of other nations, particularly those of the eastern hemisphere.
Made-up intent: Involve ourselves in the affairs of nearly every nation on earth and try to buy their friendship with money we don't even have.
U. S. monetary policy:
Founders' intent : Congress to establish and control our money system based on gold and silver standard to prevent manipulation.
Made-up intent : Give control of monetary system to private bankers who issue fiat money which lets them make money out of nothing--money on which we then pay them interest.
Federalism or vertical separation of powers :
Founders' intent : Only limited and carefully defined powers to the federal government. Government concerned with people's lives and property is only at state level or lower.
Made-up intent : Allowing Washington to have direct influence and control of local government, which destroys strong local self-government.
Horizontal Separation of Power:
Founders' intent : The power to make law was given exclusively to the representatives of the people in Congress.
Made-up intent : More laws are being made by the executive and judicial departments than are made by congress, which effect millions of people and their property.
National Debt:
Founders' intent : Debt is a temporary evil and if used must be paid off before the generation that borrowed it leaves the scene. It is immoral to pass debt on to next generation. It amounts to taxation without representation.
Made-up intent : Debt is a blessing to America. We can borrow ourselves wealthy. Passing debt onto the next generation allows those to pay the debt who will benefit from the programs paid for by the borrowed money.
Income Tax:
Founders' intent : The Founders put a prohibition of income tax into the Constitution because its enforcement violates the privacy rights of U.S. citizens. They said there are much better ways to raise revenue.
Made-up intent : Unconstitutional programs pushed in the "Progressive Era" became so expensive that new sources of revenue needed to be developed. A tax on incomes began at two percent and is only limited by what politicians can get away with. It is also a vehicle to implement a graduated tax to redistribute wealth.
Welfare Programs:
Founders' intent : The Founders' scale of fixed responsibility for one's welfare is: self, family, church, community, county, and state. Never was the federal government to be involved in welfare programs.
Made-up intent : The federal government has unconstitutionally become the sugar daddy of the American people. One reason the federal government has done this is because the monetary system lets the money managers create money out of nothing. It buys votes and wins elections.
Agriculture:
Founders' intent : The Founders specifically excluded agriculture from the purview of federal authority saying it is only a local and state function.
Made-up intent : Government programs in agriculture have taken away the freedom to fail, a necessary ingredient in the free-market system. The federal government has increased the cost of food by layer upon layer of regulation.
Marriage and Domestic Law:
Founders' intent : The core unit which determines the strength of any society is the family, therefore governments have the responsibility to foster and protect its integrity.
Made-up intent : State and federal judiciaries have injected themselves into the questions of marriage, redefining marriage and endangering the most fundamental building block of society.

NY TIMES: Ron Paul a popular pick for Obama's Cabinet
Not that the Establishment elite will listen to their peon constituents, but Ron Paul was a high ranking people's choice for Treasury Secretary according to this NY Times survey.
Hoosiers For Fair Taxation first suggested in September that former comptroller David Walker and Ron Paul be considered for cabinet positions with McCain, but we would be equally happy if they were working with the Obama administration on our behalf. After all, didn't President-elect Obama promise to work across the aisle? Didn't Obama proclaim this great message of UNITY?
It would be nice if Obama gave a little love to the patriotic, liberty minded, hardworking, self-reliant backbone that built this country, wouldn't it?
Ron Paul also reached the Top 10 for Defense Secretary (#5), Attorney General (#6), Secretary of Homeland Security (#6), and Secretary of State (#7).
Considering that Ron Paul appears on none of the drop-down selection menus offered by the New York Times, these impressive results document Ron Paul’s continuing popularity. All votes Ron Paul received were submitted by New York Times readers typing in his name.
Will Obama pick the people's choice? No way. His global elite banking cabal Masters would never permit it. Remember Obama is their puppet and puppets don't move until their strings are pulled.I hope to God that I am wrong. I hope to God that Obama is planning to double-cross the real enemies of America in effort to truly serve the people and our constitution. I hope to God that the labor nions will still be allowed to vote in secret and that radio stations will be allowed to air any content that they desire. I hope to God that Obama won't allow a banking cabal to run off with our money in the light of day. I still hold out hope that he'll double cross the bastards.

Man spends his unemployment check to fight bailout by suing the Federal Government
More than 1,400 pro se cases were filed in New Jersey in 2007. Tom Haggerty, a supervisor for the Camden Courthouse where Bumgarner filed his paperwork, said the court received 39 nonprisoner pro se cases last year.
Bumgarner's not afraid of taking chances. A few years ago he defended himself as a pro se against a former co-worker and Cooper Levenson, an Atlantic City-based law firm. The judge ruled in Bumgarner's favor, and that case is now in the appeals process.

Ogden on Politics seconds nomination of Diana Vice for a Sammie Award
Hat tip to Paul Ogden for picking up and seconding our recommendation of Diana Vice for the 2008 Sammie Award. He goes into even more detail about Diana's accomplishments on his Ogden on Politics website and explains the SLAPP lawsuits.
You can nominate Diana by going to this link.
HERE'S WHAT PAUL HAS TO SAY ABOUT DIANA'S WORK:
Nothing makes my blood boil more than a private company doing business with government, i.e. you and me, suing a private citizen who dares speak out about possible violations of the law by the company.
Not a fan of Wikipedia, but it has an excellent definition of what a SLAPP suit is all about:
"A Strategic Lawsuit Against Public Participation ("SLAPP") is a lawsuit or a threat of lawsuit that is intended to intimidate and silence critics by burdening them with the cost of a legal defense until they abandon their criticism or opposition. Winning the lawsuit is not necessarily the intent of the person filing the SLAPP. The plaintiff's goals are accomplished if the defendant succumbs to fear, intimidation, mounting legal costs or simple exhaustion and abandons the criticism. A SLAPP may also intimidate others from participating in the debate."
SLAPP suits are about a big company using their limitless financial resources to intimidate and silence private citizens who dare speak out about legal violations big company might be committing. This legal strategy is made possible by the American system of awarding attorney's fees which basically says that, with very few exceptions, both sides have to pay their own attorney in a lawsuit, regardless of the result. Big company knows that private citizen doesn't have the resources to pay an attorney and thus the company will bleed the person to death or until he or she agrees to stop criticizing big company.
Well Diana Vice, private citizen extraordinaire, spoke out about Tremco's inflated roofing charges to public school corporations and the failure of Tremco to go through the bidding process. She talked to everyone who would listen about the taxpayer rip-off, including legislators, members of the Daniels' administration and the Attorney General's Office. How did Tremco respond? By hiring a big law firm to sue her to shut her up. Well it didn't work and the other day the Indiana Attorney General's Office issued an opinion concluding that Diana Vice was correct that Tremco violated the law.
While the legislature has enacted a chapter, IC 34-7-7 et seq., dealing with protections for people confronted with SLAPP lawsuits, which includes making big company pay the little person's legal fees, the fact is judges remain instinctively reluctant to go against the American tradition of the litigants paying for their own attorney, win or lose.
There is a very simple way the legislature can put real meat onto the anti-SLAPP law. Public work contracts are already legally required to contain wage and anti-discrimination provisions. The legislature could simply pass a law that says that public works contracts must also include a provision that says if a company is found to have filed a SLAPP lawsuit under IC 34-7-7 et seq., the contract is void. Problem solved. No private company is going to want to risk using the legal process to intimidate a private citizen if the company is potentially going to lose the contract because of filing the lawsuit. To those companies, it is all about the green.
As a lawyer, I find nothing more despicable than a big company using a big law firm to intimidate a private citizen who does not have the resources to fight back. Personally I would not only pull Tremco's ticket from ever having a public works projects again, but I would also make an example of the big law firms which have aided Tremco in going after little ole' Diana Vice. Maybe that's overkill, but hey I'm an SOB on such matters. I do not think we lawyers should put aside our ethics and integrity because there is a big corporate client willing to pay us a lot of money.
On a more positive note, Melyssa over at Hoosiers For Fair Taxation has suggested the nomination of Diana, who runs the Welcome to My Tea Party blog, for the 2008 Sam Adams Alliance "Sunshine" Prize. I second that nomination. Here is a link that describes the award and what you need to do to vote. I would advise voting for Diana because of her courageous sacrifice on behalf of taxpayers. I'm sure the monetary prize would also come into use due to the tens of thousands of dollars in attorney's fees I'm sure she's on the hook for as a result of defending herself (and our rights) against Tremco's SLAP lawsuit. Hopefully the judge will eventually slap down Tremco. In the meantime, let's make Diana a winner of the "Sunshine" Prize.

Nominate Diana Vice of Indiana to win 2008 Sam Adams Alliance "Sunshine" Prize
Now is the time that we all come together once again to ensure one of our own dedicated and superbly effective activists carries home to Indiana a Sam Adams "Sammie".
Last year I won the "Tea" Party" Sammie. But I did not have near as much personal difficultly or achieve as much tangible success as the woman I want our community to rally behind for a 2008 Sammie.
There is courageous woman I wish to nominate for the 2008 "Sunshine" Sammie for using our state's open records laws to uncover government corruption, waste or malfeasance. For this the Sam Adams Alliance will reward the country's most effective person to use the FOIA (Freedom of Information Act) with $5,000!
There is only one person in the country who I know has already earned the Sunshine prize. Her name is Diana Vice, she writes the "Welcome To My Tea Party" blog. She is the homemaker whistle blower from the Lafayette area who first uncovered the self-dealing bid schemes of the national predatory government contractor, TREMCO ROOFING.
Diana uncovered that Tremco had a lock on statewide bid schemes with our school systems and routinely charged three times what a competent and local contractor would charge for the same work. In fact local Indiana-based contractors gave up on ever getting state contract work even in their own communities.
She also uncovered that their lawyer lobbyists who give fat campaign donations to the two main political parties were often hired political thugs for TREMCO.
As of the last year, TREMCO's sales have plummeted from $40 million to just $4 million. You can bet they want their pound of flesh and are doing everything in their power to stop our Indiana Heroine Diana, including harassment, threats, and a defamation lawsuit initiated by a powerful Indiana lobbyist firm. And she needs money to recoup her personal expenses with the very effective fight she is successfully waging.
Back in January 2008, the media would not listen to Diana Vice, nor would they give air to her story. Frustrated, she began to email taxpayer activists and came to me via this blog. By the end of our first phone conversation stuffed with names, dates, documentation, and too big a web of corruption to get my head around in one sitting, I convinced Diana that she needed to learn to blog herself. And then I assured that I would have her back and make sure she got her documented research networked.
Shortly thereafter, her work began its journey into Sunshine on 1/25/2008 with this first entry on her newfound WELCOME TO MY TEA PARTY blog:
Welcome to Reality
There are six things that God hates, and lying is one of them. The lying that I witnessed at the Indiana Statehouse this week was the last straw for me. It did have one useful purpose, though, and that is, it provided the motivation that I needed to create this blog and to organize a state-wide tax protest. I saw first hand how lawyers and paid lobbyists can negatively influence legislators to the detriment of the people. Stay tuned to this site and you'll receive increments of truth that will motivate you to action. Keep your blood pressure medicine handy, because if you're a taxpayer in Indiana, what you are about to learn will make you very angry.
And by the way, her blog documents and connects EVERYTHING with painstaking detail. It might be way too much for you to read every word and still keep up with you family, home, and career. Let's just trust that the Department of Justice is making use of her very valuable public document of everything related to TREMCO bid schemes and the government corruption that allows to it exist.
All you need to do is help make sure Diana wins. And, if you think another activist in our community deserves one of the other prizes, let's "get 'er done".

URGENT & WORTHY: Mayor Ballard's Pantry Stocking Food Drive
Food resources in our local not-for-profit food bank must always be kept full. That is our responsibility to our neighbors as citizens in an abundant society . We make sure our poor are fed. Period. Our Mayor asks that we all individually do what we can to accelerate the food drive in our own networks. I will show my support for the effort with $50 in a food staple donation from my pantry and I ask all of you who are also blessed to give. Also, please do your part to incubate a grass roots food drive in your neighborhood or place of business.

Panhandling Reform & Optimizing The Change We Can Believe In
"I didn’t go with the total “bum” look. I just wore clothes, that for me were very dressed down. I had my change cup. It was one I got from Victory Field so I could help promote the city with my experiment. And the corner I chose to shake my cup and ask for change was Washington and Meridian. I chose it not only because it was a very busy intersection, but it was the volunteer headquarters for Barack Obama. "
Abdul Panhandles, April 13, 2008
No More Inner-City Gas Station Shake Downs
If you live in Marion County and buy gas in Center Township, you have no doubt been the target of a shake down by a gas station panhandler. A lot of times you were told a long detailed account of the victim's family waiting in a broke down car nearby and they desperately need to get somewhere and have no resources for help. I guess that would include no help from Carl Drummond, our Center Township Trustee entrusted with giving out poor relief, which he does at the cost of $3 for every $1 given away.
Or you might be confronted by an unfortunate urbanite who tells you that money is needed for the bus even though there are legitimate ways for serious reform minded ex-felons looking to be responsible about their re-entry and prove their reform is real to society.
Whatever the reason, sometimes we used to help them out knowing full well that our money is probably going to a little drink or pleasure that some of us enjoy ourselves with the extra money we earn.
Well, now you don't have to feel guilty about not giving away a buck or two in today's trying economic times to a person down on his or her luck.
Not anymore. Cause Obama promised he'd do it for us!
Beginning January 2oth all you have to do is explain that while you would like to directly give over some spare cash, your money is already being collected by Obama's plan to ensure his or her basic human needs are satisfied. Tell them it's cool to go ahead and take it up with President Obama. Because there is no way Obama will stiff you.
And do not be too timid to remind the panhandler that our Center Township Trustee, Carl Drummond is efficient about poor relief distribution in his district and that Obama has Drummond's full support from Center Township.

FCC Probe Signals Democratic Attack Machine
A Federal Communications Commission investigation of on-air military analysts is providing a glimpse of what Democrats and an Obama administration will do to critics once they capture Washington.
The FCC has sent letters to some of the nation's most prominent military analysts -- some of them pro-President Bush and pro-war -- suggesting they may have broken the law when they appeared on television stations to comment on and explain the war on terrorism.
The FCC investigation raises the question of whether a Democrat-controlled Congress and White House next year will investigate -- and perhaps criminalize -- all sorts of actions taken by the Bush administration. Obama is leading in all presidential polls, while Democrats are set to greatly increase their hold on the House and Senate.
The FCC letters came at the behest of two House Democrats, who say the analysts parroted on air the private briefings they received at the Pentagon. This may have broken the law, the lawmakers said.
The probe is sending chills through the ranks of military commentators, some of them decorated war heroes who share their expertise with millions of lay viewers. They see it as one in a series of moves the Left is making to intimidate and shut up its critics.
"We are seeing the dawn of a new era of the current Democratic leadership trying to muzzle free speech and the First Amendment," retired Air Force Lt. Gen. Tom McInerney, a Fox News analyst, told HUMAN EVENTS. "It may be the most invasive intrusion that we have seen in our history. There will be more of these tactics to follow."
Said retired Army Maj. Gen. Paul Vallely, one of Fox's first defense analysts, "It's an affront to freedom of speech. As retired officers, we're private citizens and can say anything we want under the First Amendment. The whole thing was to explain to the American people what was going on in war and analyzing it."
Democrats have more in store to try to muzzle conservatives. They talk of reactivating the so-called Fairness Doctrine in which federal government bureaucrats monitor radio and TV programs and rule on their fairness. Conservatives say the real goal is to kill right-leaning talk radio.
Talk radio is the one medium conservatives can turn to for their point of view amid a sea of liberal dogma from the New York Times, Washington Post, Public Broadcasting, the TV networks and Hollywood. If the government forces Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity to present liberal points of view, ratings will slip and the shows might be taken off the air.
"They're going to implement the Fairness Doctrine to basically do away with Right-wing radio," Vallely said. "In their minds, balance means Left wing. It's Socialists trying to infringe on our First Amendment rights."
Begun in 1949 as an FCC policy and then a regulation, the agency abolished the doctrine during the Ronald Reagan administration as an infringement on free speech. Democrats passed a bill to reinstate the policy as law, but Reagan vetoed it. There would be no Reagan to veto the next bill Democrats are likely to enact should Obama win the election.
In the analysts case, the FCC is looking at the practice of the Pentagon providing exclusive briefings on the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan to retired military officers, who would then use the information on the air.
In the Oct. 2 letters to 19 analysts and various TV networks, the FCC cited a New York Times article which accused the analysts of receiving the Pentagon information in exchange for positive commentary on the air. The letters, signed by Hillary S. DeNigro, chief of the agency's investigations and hearings division, said such an arrangement might violate the Communications Act of 1934.
The FCC sent the letters after receiving a complaint from Rep. Rosa L. DeLauro, (D-Conn.) and Rep. John Dingell, (D-Mich.). Dingell has a history of using committee staff to browbeat and investigate Republican administrations.
"In their complaint, Representatives DeLauro and Dingell express concern that the analysts and [TV stations] may have failed to disclose this exchange of consideration to the stations, as required by section 507 of the Communications Act of 1934," said the FCC letter. "They also suggest that the stations may have aired your commentary without making appropriate sponsorship identification announcements at the time such material was aired, as required" by the act.
Some analysts also work for defense contractors who produce weapons systems used in the war. There were suggestions in the Times article that analysts pitched those systems during TV appearances.
McInerney, a hawk on the Iraq war, said the information the Pentagon supplied him and other commentators was the same as provided to the news media.
Defense Secretary Robert Gates has ended the private analysts briefings. Besides the FCC probe, the Pentagon inspector general is reviewing the program, which was started by Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld after the September 1, 2001 attacks.
The DeLauro-Dingell letter to the FCC says, in part, "Our chief concern is that as a result of the analysts' participation in this DoD program, which included the DoD's paying for their commercial airfare on DoD-sponsored trips to Iraq, the analysts and the networks that hired them could have run afoul of certain laws or regulations."
The FCC is giving the 19 analysts 30 days to respond to the charges. [HUMAN EVENTS Editor Jed Babbin was a member of the group of military analysts who met frequently with senior Pentagon officials and participated in the program. He did not receive a letter from the FCC.]

Confiscation of our 401k accounts: More change we can believe in
From Carolina Journal
Dems Target Private Retirement Accounts
Democratic leaders in the U.S. House discuss confiscating 401(k)s, IRAs
By Karen McMahan
November 04, 2008
RALEIGH — Democrats in the U.S. House have been conducting hearings on proposals to confiscate workers’ personal retirement accounts — including 401(k)s and IRAs — and convert them to accounts managed by the Social Security Administration.Triggered by the financial crisis the past two months, the hearings reportedly were meant to stem losses incurred by many workers and retirees whose 401(k) and IRA balances have been shrinking rapidly.
The testimony of Teresa Ghilarducci, professor of economic policy analysis at the New School for Social Research in New York, in hearings Oct. 7 drew the most attention and criticism. Testifying for the House Committee on Education and Labor, Ghilarducci proposed that the government eliminate tax breaks for 401(k) and similar retirement accounts, such as IRAs, and confiscate workers’ retirement plan accounts and convert them to universal Guaranteed Retirement Accounts (GRAs) managed by the Social Security Administration.

Rahm Emanuel: Change we can believe in.
From CNSNews.com
President-elect Barack Obama’s choice for White House chief of staff is one of the biggest recipients of Wall Street money in Congress, according to a Washington, D.C.-based “money-in-politics” watchdog group. The Center for Responsive Politics has issued a report highlighting millions of dollars in campaign contributions that Rep. Rahm Emanuel (D-Ill.) has raised from individuals working in the hedge fund industry, private equity firms, and large investment firms.
Emanuel has raised more money from individuals and political action committees in securities and investment businesses than from any other industry. This comes after a presidential campaign that saw Obama frequently criticize Wall Street and blamed lack of government regulations for the economic crisis that hit the country in mid-September.
Emanuel, a former Clinton White House aide, is chairman of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee and received much of the credit for the Democrats winning a majority in the House of Representatives in 2006 – the first time in 12 years. For his own 2006 re-election campaign, where he faced no serious opposition, Emanuel raised $1.5 million from the investment industry. His other sources of contributions came from lawyers, who gave $682,900, while people working in the entertainment industries gave $376,100.
Though Obama did not accept contributions directly from lobbyists during his campaign, Washington lobbyists have given Emanuel $136,640 since he was elected. Emanuel is a member of the House Ways and Means Committee, which overseas tax legislation, making him “a popular industry target,” the report said.
Employees from private equity firm Madison Dearborn Partners contributed $93,600 to his various campaigns since he was first elected to Congress in 2002. Emanuel, who worked as an investment banker after President Bill Clinton left the White House, was elected to Congress in 2002. He has a net worth of between $5 million and $13.2 million, according to his 2007 financial disclosure form. Other top contributors to Emanuel’s campaigns have been employees of UBS, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, Citigroup and Morgan Stanley, also financial sources for Obama’s presidential campaign.

Sage advice for republicans from the very republican bloggers at HOOSIER ACCESS
Last night's democratic sweep caused the guys over at Hoosier Access to offer sober advice to the members of their party. Here it is with HFFT comments appearing below:
1. t is not a good thing when the core of our party is not who picks our nominee
2. When we let the “country club” Republicans run the party, we lose
3. Running a campaign on the basis of “I’m not the other guy” is not effective
4. The American people have forgotten what the cost of big government is; they do not remember socialism and communism
4. We cannot rely on “disaffected” Democrats to bring in the vote for Republicans, they must be won
6. Scurrilous charges need to be answered
7. The Democrats ground game has caught up to the Republican ground game
8. Polling was largely correct
9. George W Bush was the gift that kept on giving to the Democrats
10. It will now be a huge challenge to regain control of “voting irregularities” as ACORN, etc. will be largely unchecked for at least two more years
11. We are no longer a racist country, right?
12. If you are going to mess up campaign finance, you might get burned by it
13. Indiana voters vote on personalities and not on ideas
14. Reapportionment and redistricting in 2011 will be critical for the future of governance
15. The reaction to this election is NOT to move to the left
COMMENTS TO HOOSIER ACCESS FROM HFFT:
Republican core values? Gee wouldn't that be to reduce the size and cost of government, to lower taxes, the rule of law, and adherence to the Constitution?
.
Or are republican core values about starting an illegal war, obeying your global Establishment Masters, forging runaway spending, getting fat at the taxpayer trough, warantless wire taps, serving lobbyists before taxpayers, and arrogant leadership?
.
Think back to the person who won the MSM internet polls by a landslide after the very first republican debates in 2007? Those were the polls that were yanked from existence almost immediately after they showed his sweeping popular appeal.
.
That person was Ron Paul.
.
If the Republican Party wants to find its soul it needs to acknowledge that its Masters (who control the MSM) refused to allow the very sober and articulate Ron Paul to compete on a level playing field. Instead, Dr. Paul was marginalized and labeled a kook.
.
Guess what, geniuses. That kook Ron Paul called the economic meltdown long before you realized it was lurking as the tsunami poised to devaste our nation's people.
.
Ron Paul knows what causes our failures and how to restore America. In fact, he tried to warn you all that the problems were coming and you ignored him and/or grouped him with the tin foil hat crowd.
.
The question is, do the Republicans have the will to force a Revolution within your own party?
.
Ron Paul can unite conservatives across all lines. And no other conservative but Ron Paul comes even close to having the ground breaking activist support in the streets like Obama employed to catapult his landslide victory last night. And no other conservative can raise the kind of money that Ron Paul can. You might not realize but Ron Paul activist cells still regularly meet across the country and can easily mobilize.
.
Ron Paul is how we get conservative values back into American policy. And until you move the Republican party into that direction, the third party will continue to pick off your dissatisfied, disillusioned, and betrayed thus leaving the GOP even more marginalized.
