Assessments in Marion County to go up? HUH?

Property owners can expect worse news than 2007 bills

Once again, Gary Welsh of Advance Indiana provides great coverage. Does he EVER sleep? Again, we are grateful he is in our community and provides this service for us.

Please read Gary's coverage of what we can expect when they mail our new bills.

On a different topic, Melyssa, Greg Ballard was overheard on Abdul's show stating that the selection for a new Fire Chief wasnt considered important to be a front burner issue.

Does this mean he doesnt think that a guy who made slanderous, insulting, gaybashing issues needs to be replaced? Oh well, maybe he'll get around it someday..

Repeal: The real deal

Property taxes are a feudal holdover from old Europe (barons, serfs, Bayou Tapestry, Battle of Hastiness, imperial crap), in diametric conflict with free market economics, due to the absence of any transactional standard. There is no market value system other than the market itself. Buyers and sellers are the only legitimate arbiters of value, which is a transactional reality (an actual sale) and not the guess work of any illegitimately imposed, non-risk bearing, disinterested party (government).

I'm enjoying Greeson's current mental torture far too much, darling. Be patient. Let him suffer longer.

When I get a little time, I'll put together a packet to send over to Scott Newman.

Greeson is a liability to our city. A $350,000 + liability.

Mayor Ballard knows. Trust him. I do.
