On May 14, this blog predicted much higher gas prices. A few days later analysts predicted $10 to $12 per gallon by 2010.

It's time to get educated on free energy and start pushing it with Congress. Beating up on the oil company execs isn't going to do a bit of good. Besides, American enivornmental policy makes it virtually impossible for them to develop new reserves anyway.

Instead, put the oil companies out of business forever.
